Here’s what “some” people on the internet make being an entrepreneur out to be. Oh my look at me on the fancy plane working 4 hours a week and making millions. It took me 5 minutes and I can show you how! FYI – it did not take 5 minutes. Or my favorite: I just had a $25,000 launch. Let me show you how! FYI – that launch took 10 years in the making to get her to that place. So today, I want to share with you the truth about the entrepreneurial journey.
Phase 1 – The Big Idea
This is when you’ve made the decision. You’ve had enough. And you’re going to take this idea and turn it into something. You may not know all the pieces yet. But you will soon. Especially considering the majority of this phase consists of learning allllllll the things.
Phase 2 – The Oh Boy What Have I Done Phase
I’m going to be honest. I see a lot of people quit in this phase. Their brains are literally about to explode with all the knowledge they have been consuming and so they have completely lost sight of why they got started on this journey in the first place. But it’s also the phase where they are start to say enough is enough. This is the moment when you realize it’s up to you to make the plan. You’ve learned the things. You are ready.
Phase 3 – Making It Happen
This is where the real fun begins. This is when all the planets and starts align and you can see the clarity again. You have the products. You can sell them. There are actual ways for customers to reach you. Now it’s all about growing your business. And this is when you can start to have some faith in your journey and start living that life you dreamed up only a few phases ago.
